Billionaire Mark Cuban Tries New Tricks to Push for Dogecoin Adoption
The crypto market is severely riddled with an influence coma Elon Musk used to do that, and from occasion to again, he still does, but now Mark Cuban is in the game, and he won’t back out until he has given DOGE adoption a fair push. Mark Cuban was among those who first adopted dogecoin into their own businesses and organizations, as Dallas Maverick is known to allow doge payments from fans in order to buy merchandise or tickets to the new game.
Now, the basketball team is giving away e-gift cards to the crypto fans as a part of this new campaign known as crypto-mania. This is nothing different from the tactics used by product developers and advertisers to lure the customers into buying more and more for the sake of getting some money or some incentive in return.
Influences Try to Manipulate Crypto Market
The deal here is simple if you opt to buy maverick merchandise worth $150 or more, then you will be given $25 in return in the form of crypto payments, and the following campaign is expected to last until the end of this year. The adoption of Mavericks is not limited to dogecoin only as they opted to include Bitcoin among one of the cryptocurrencies which the basketball team accepts in the form of payments.
But they didn’t have any luck with Bitcoin, so to speak, because they could only manage to make $130 through Bitcoin payments which was no success at all and clearly indicated the problem with the mainstream adoption of Bitcoin. That is why both Elon Musk and Mark Cuban are giving dogecoin a calculated priority over other cryptocurrencies because of the fact that it is cheap as compared to Bitcoin or Ethereum and can prove an extreme push regarding scalability if it ever reaches there.
Mark Cuban was fairly skeptical of Bitcoin and used to express his bitter regard towards the flagship cryptocurrency, but he has changed his stance over the years. Now he doesn’t only support the idea of adopting bitcoin but advice people to amass more and more of it because it is digital gold.
